The two most popular races of 2006 so far are the the two where wet weather provoked an unpredictable contest: Hungary and China. The Italian Grand Prix received only a lukewarm response, though, ranking ninth of the 16 races polled so far.

Michael Schumacher’s win in China was his most popular win of the season so far, ahead of Fernando Alonso’s triumph in the opening race at Bahrain. Jenson Button and Felipe Massa’s maiden wins ranked first and fourth respectively.

  1. Both wet races.

Forget all this talk of CFG Wings etc, clearly what is needed to improve the show is the installation of water sprinklers at all Grand Prix venues.
