Marko Asmer won the second British F3 race at Snetterton commandingly from pole position. It was as if his disappointing first race performance hadn’t even happened.

Alberto Valerio and Sam Bird were second and third in a reversal of their finishes in the first race, after Valerio sliced past Bird on lap seven.

Bird dropped back but was able to defend third from Maro Engel. Asmer’s win gives him a comfortable 48 point lead over new second placed man Sam Bird. Bird is one point ahead of Stephen Jelley.
