Is it true alonso driving for ferrari 2008,if so where is massa going?
Hamilton fan
24th September 2007, 12:06
i read yesterday in the nwes of the world that alonso was going to move to ferrari for 20 million dollars a year. I dont see why he would do this, hes been complaining all year about not getting number 1 status at maclaren, ferrari wouldnt give it to him when theyre paying kimi raikkonen 25 million dollars a year, just tabloid rubbish i think

I think if Fernando went to Ferrari – it would make life very interesting, rumours have it that FM (Massa) was spotted in the Toyota Garage at Spa – so they are saying that he may well join Toyota and that Ralph may not drive next year… as he has not performed this year. Jarno has been confirmed for Toyota already. There is also speculation that Jenson might try get into the opening at McLaren – I don’t think he will be accepted. (Maybe as a test driver!! LOL!!)

Ferrari’s drives have confirmed contracts for 2008 – there is no way alonso is going to ferrari. Its about 90% sure he is going back to renalt. Im wondering who Mclearn will take for there 2nd driver? Anyone know? I think they will take Pero De La Rosa.

Button to Mclaren, at least Hamilton wouldn’t have any competition. They should use Pedro or Kubica they are the best options, unless kubica resigns at BMW. I heard that Ralph is going to be sweeping the pits shame Rubens doesn’t join him. give some drivers a chance!
Nelson for Champion 2008!

I just want to point out (because I think the person in comment 11 was misled) there has been no serious suggestion that Jenson Button is going to go to McLaren. I think some members of the British press have wishfully suggested it, but no more.

I agree with Scott, Blew it! I don’t think so, even if he never drives an F1 car again he would be well remembered for creating one of the best seasons for many years.
I think Hamilton seems to be like Marmite, some people love him and some don’t.But all would agree he sure can drive!

Most likely Kovalainen or Dela rosa will be driving for Mclaren. I don’t see why would mclaren even try to get any other driver at this point. Kovalainen is one of the fastest drivers at the moment and Dela Rosa would keep the spanish sponsor happy.

clover you say you saw Glock in gp2 last year and he was rubbish. Um did you not happen to notice that he won the 2007 GP2 title. Look at the GP2 champions we have had. Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton. Timo Glock. Look at where Nico and Lewis are. I expect Glock to do well next year
