  1. Toro Rosso asked ex-F1 racer Juan Pablo Montoya if he would return to the sport – sadly the NASCAR driver turned them down.

Wasn’t that the story last season, too?

  2. Piquet presumably had it easy in GP2, since his daddy was paying for the cars…..No doubt life under Flavio is a lot stricter, and being team-mate to Alonso must be a real reality-check!
I have often wondered how much input the test-drivers have on a team, and how much they can learn about racing, since there is never the pressure on them.

  3. Keith,

Autosport has designed an interesting visual concept of what could be the 2009 car under the new aerodynamics rules:

    nice becken.

love the diffuser, but any idea how come the wheel rims are still allowed?

  5. If its being discovered that next years aero/power package isn’t going to be doing the job properly, surely this is the time for the car designers to come up with revolutionary designs of F1 car?
Bernie and Max could hardly complain about it, since they were behind the extra-ordinary Fan Car all those years ago – which dealt with the same problems!
