Looking at where Glock finished, one has to wonder what Mclaren were thinking, putting Lewis on 2 stops when the cars ahead of him had almost double his fuel load.

Hamilton’s strategy worked fine. Maybe he didn’t overtake as many cars as possible due to a BMW ramming him, but after his stop he had a clear track ahead of him. If his car would have been fine, he could have made up a lot of time there.
Starting with a full tank would have been useless. he couldn’t have overtaken a single car and he would have been behind the other cars all race which were on the same strategy.
