Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, Suzuka, 2010

It’s hard to believe the sun-kissed shots from Suzuka today came just 24 hours after we saw the track flooded to the point that qualifying had to be abandoned.

After yesterday’s grey-wash, check out Suzuka in all its technicolour glory with this collection of pictures from the Japanese Grand Prix.

    1. Why is there a “?” on the sidepod winglet of the Lotus?

      1. They had been advertising their branded drink on there, maybe it’s not available in Japan or they can’t advertise it there for some reason?

      2. Its probably in reference to:

        A) what the team is are going to be called next year as I don’t think they know.

        B) They have confused themselves with the whole lotus name saga that much, that they felt the need to slap a ? on the car somewhere.

        :)

    2. Just to make possible customers to question something!!

      :-)))

    3. Not too bad…. but compared to the rain pics… fail

    4. Why Mark Webber isn’t on the last picture ?

      1. Makes you think, doesn’t it. Especially after his clinching fastest lap from Seb and some of the things said at the press conference.

Anyone for another RBR inner team rumour round?

      2. Webber’s a sourpuss. When he’s won Vettel’s always there (sometimes even smiling) celabrating with the team. When Vettel wins he sends his cardboard cutout to stand in.

      3. He could be the one taking the photo?

    5. Anyone knows what the big Japanese flag is about for Kobayashi?
Will it be sold for some charity, or used for team promotion.

      1. From what’s written on it (some sentences and words I can just about understand are “Dare to Dream Big”, “Ultimate prize”, “Podium”, “looking forward”), I think it’s just a gift from his fans.

        1. That would be my guess as well. Wasn’t there a whole section of the grandstand at turn 1 reserved for Kobayashi fans? They probably had the flag out in that section for them all to sign.

    6. i wish that rain fall today on race but did not , boring race again with boring drivers who dont love risk and overtakings. only kamui save today race.

    7. You can still see the fujitv logo on the podium. I didnt know they just paint it when the sponsors change.

      1. I noticed that too.
