Keith, I think the 2010’s should be 2011’s?

I’ve heard that from 2012, Valencia will move to Barcelona’s calendar date (May 13th) and Barcelona is going to be dropped.

The Circuit de Catalunya has a contract to 2016 and I can’t see Ecclestone buying them out of it.

The crowds were quite poor at Barcelona this year. The economic situation in Spain isn’t good. Perhaps Barcelona’s promoters will be only too happy to be bought out of their contract?

Spanish news paper “Marca” is saying that Spanish GP in Montmeló (Catalonia) is at risk from 2013. Aparently Bernie wants a GP per country and Valencia is the chosen one in Spain…
Actually Spain has two of the least interesting circuits right know, even though Spanish GP was eventful this year.
