Abu Dhabi is a weird track. On TV it looks cold and plain, with no sand or grass in sight, but on photos it is clean and fresh. Great photos nonetheless.

Nice – there was an amazing photo last year of the McLaren leaving the pits just before the tunnel… It showed the rear of the car and has been the background on my mac ever since. One of the best f1 photos I’ve seen – any chance of an update version? :)

What s spectacular track. How can anybody say anything different? The transistion of daylight to dark made the cars look amazing. As cool as Singapore is this place is in another zone compared to the later. I rate this the fourth best event of the year, behind Spa, Monaco and Monza.

This year – with its DRS and KERS = will show the real value of this track, just as it did to Valencia. We all knew Valenia was bad track, and we saw this year that even DRS couldnt help improve the show. Now its time for Abu Dhabi; after two boring races, this sunday we will see whether its really that bad.
The racing itself should be a criterion for judging a racing circuit, not good looking, expensive buildings around it, or such tginf as the view of sun set over it.

Are you nuts?? The environment of a racing facility is what racing is about. The better the environment the more entertainment we get from it. It is all about having a racing circuit in a location where the challenge of the circuit tests teams and drivers in their pursuit of victory. That challenge is also the basis for which fans attend and witness the spectacle of Formula One.

What are you talking about ???
So the wrapping paper is more important than the present ?
We couldn’t care less about the beauty of the buildings or the colour of the run-off areas ! The layout is crap, and that suffices to make the whole event a disposable one.
Does Monza have such a glamourous setting ? Or Silverstone ? And yet we fans prefer them. Even the modest hungaroring is a better track !
You must be working for some Abu-Dhabi Tourism agency.

Sorry I think you are really off the mark with your response. If you can’t see the beauty of all aspects of the Abu Dhabi circuit and how F1 is presented there, then I have to question what actually interests you. My observation of Abu Dhabi comes from the other side of the planet and I am just a fan.

I have to say that I the transition from day to night waas pretty epic tonight. It may be a gimmick, but the cars really cameto life and it gave the track a lot of character. Looking forward to tomorrow!
