  1. a bad day for Force India. An awesome day for Ferrari.

    1. IMO, they had a decent outing. This season they are very slow than Sauber and Williams in high speed corners.

      1. Yes, you can’t call it bad day considering how Sauber was destroyed.

        1. @eggry @vickyy considering that Di Resta was on a dry set-up, which baffles me, they could have been much higher

  2. Schumacher delivers. The top-5 is his place to be. I hope he’ll have a run of consistent good race results.

    1. I think he was one of the strongest, if not the strongest today. His lap time is amazing considering he had 2-3 laps less on inters… He’s looking very good for tomorrow if this weather stays.

      1. I’m hoping it stays at least somewhat wet.

    2. @Damon I remember him running well in Canada last year but he got unlucky in the DRS zones a few times.

  3. Hamilton is between Maldonado & Grosjean & the race at the start will be wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    may God help him !!!!

    1. Grosjean will make him spin and Maldonado will snatch his front wing :P

    2. Ouch for that position. That’s what caught my eye too on the grid. Really hope he can make a clear start
and pass Maldonado right away, so that he can make a gap. He really needs that gap with Maldonado.

      1. EVERYONE needs a gap to Maldonado!

    3. Come on Grosjean is not that bad when it comes to starts, Maldonado on the other hand…

      1. No, but Grosjean is very bad with the first few laps.

        1. Maldonado has a far worse incident record, leave Roman alone!

    4. I’ll be keeping an eye on those two. I’m sure the British crowd haven’t forgotten what happened last race and will be praying they don’t come together again.

  4. Will Charles Pic start tomorrow? It was reported that he was outside of the 107% rule.

    1. He was. but I think stewards would allow him since it was changeable condition.

  5. How does Maldonado escape with a 20 sec penalty in previous race when his action had greater effect? He should also have received a 10 place grid penalty.

    1. If they had given him a 10 place grid penalty he would have still finished 10th and recieve a point wich wouldn’t be fair towards Hamilton who could gain none.

  6. Massa is finally in a position to take points off of Lewis.

  7. Massaaaaaaa! He’s having a good run at the moment and long may it continue. I expect in dry conditions he will lose some places but a top 10 finish would be good. Really good effort from Kimi too, considering his KERS issues, I wonder if Grosjean could have put the E20 even higher if not for his trip to the beach?

  8. Surely despite attempting to ensure that FP3 was red-flagged at every opportunity when his car stopped, I would presume that Pic will receive the required dispensation?

  9. Damn, I predicted both Saubers to be in the top five in the race. Part of me still thinks that can still happen, though it will be tough.

    1. And I predicted Button to win, which also looks a lot more difficult now. But I’m happy for Schumacher, starting 3rd. And surely the start will be very interesting, especially regarding row 3 to 5.

  10. I am honestly surprised where the Lotus cars are on the grid considering how they looked during qualifying, very decent effort by Kimi considering no KERS. I wonder if Hamilton is hoping for a safety car start. Congratulations to Schumi, Mark and Fernando, the old boys showing how it’s done in terrible conditions.

  11. Don’t think Pic should be allowed to start if I am honest. Marussia and HRT are repeatedly having their cars out with the 107% time and yet always get allowed to start therefore they have no reason to really work on getting their cars faster during qualifying. They are not competing and only detract from the other teams who are getting faster and better. Not allowing Pic to start this race would show them that they need to be more competitive if they wish to remain in F1. If you compare the teams to Caterham who started at the same time and who have managed on a couple of occasions to get into Q2 and have a decent go at the midfield during the race you can see just how little HRT and Marussia have actually improved.
