   Closer than I expected between Vettel and Webber but pole position all the same! 3 front-row lock-outs in a row!

   With the two McLarens ahead of him, I’m not sure Alonso will be able to make any substantial gains at the start, leaving Vettel free to pull out his “signature” lead. The win is pretty much Red Bull’s to take, so I’ll be keeping my eye on McLaren versus Ferrari tomorrow, with 2nd in the constructors’ championship at stake.

      The only hope for Alonso lies in the hands of Lewis Hamilton. If he can jump Webber off the line and somehow get in front of Vettel during the 1st lap, then we might have an interesting race.. or else its Vettel into the sunset

   Webber holds up the McLarens, Vettels storms off in the distance. I already see it happening.

   Not going to bother watching another bore fest from the front. The only interesting thing is the team lockouts in the top three rows. Alonso’s only hope is Vettel has car problems or optimistically he can get in 2nd, but that will be very difficult I think so he’ll probably get 3rd or 4th.

    Quite a funny grid arrangement if look only at teams
    RBR-RBR – McLaren – McLaren – Ferrari – Ferrari
    Then Lotus – someone- Williams – Mercedes
    and Lotus – someone – Williams – Mercedes

    That sum up quite well the order and strength of cars this year

    I have to agree, this was probably the most boring quali session this year but if we take the Red Bulls out of the equation (regarding them, the only question is whether Webber will drop out of the 2nd place or not), it should pan out as quite an interesting race tomorrow.

    Ferrari, McLaren should be able to deliver a close fight while Raikkonen and Perez could get in the mix (both have managed to get some extended life out of the soft tires in free practice). And the midfield should be packed as well: Force India, Sauber, Mercedes and Williams look more or less on par. We’ve seen a number of mistakes being made in the past couple of days, even from Vettel, so I reckon we’ll have our fair share of that sort of thing tomorrow too.

    For me, it will be worth a watch. No question about that.

    I don’t believe it! We might have a grid without penalties! I thought it wouldn’t happen again this season…

    I’d like to think that Rosberg and Mercedes will take advantage of their fresher tyres but I imagine they will find a way to waste this opportunity as well!
