Since I’m not interested in lining Rupert Murdoch’s pockets, I think I’ll be mostly watching the Blancpain 24h Spa. Mostly.

I assume by that logic, you haven’t seen any 20th Century Fox films or TV shows either? If not, then fair play to you, you must have some very strictly defined and adhered to morals. As I’m more than an average fan myself, and couldn’t bear to miss a race, i’m happy to pay for the good things in life.. Money can’t buy me happiness, so why not spend it on the things i enjoy, even if I have every little. Sky’s coverage is second to none IMO.

There was an implicit ‘to watch something that should be free-to-air’ ;)

Why should anything other then local news & information be free-to-air?

Because not everyone can afford/wants to spend hundreds of pounds a year to watch their favourite sport, especially one that adds as much money to the UK economy as F1 does.

Not everyone wants to go to grade school but they have too. Doing things you don’t want to do or passing on things because you can not put yourself in the position to acquire them is part of life.

@fisha695 – You’ve just compared a basic human right to a hobby. Therefore, as far as I’m concerned, your argument is null and void. Not to mention completely ridiculous.

@raceprouk – Education is a right, having that education taught to you at a grade school isn’t ;)

@fisha695 Keep digging – you might actually find a workable argument. But I doubt it.

IMO, it’s second to the BBC’s. It’s not terrible, but I’d always prefer the BBC coverage.
