Is there any special reason why STR took team group photos here? Don’t they do this normally during a season ending race weekend?

@shena I would love if (given the situation Vettel gets his 4WDC tomorrow) Ricciardo takes a Red Bull spot in the last 3 races. Probably that’s why the farewell picture?

@omarr-pepper I don’t think it’s likely to happen but similar thoughts crossed my mind as well. It’s so odd that there had to be some reasons behind it? It’s not like the team has anything to do with this race particularly ie. having an Indian driver or an Indian sponsor, being an Indian team and so on. I heard Photographers were complaining that the conditions are sort of a nightmare…

I doubt it would ever happen but would love to see it. Dropping Vettel back in the Rosso for the last three races would be fantastic to see ! Maybe its just the last race some team members will attend as they are now fully working on next years car or something ? I doubt it’s anything exciting but it is very strange…

I’ve already said that @f190 :P

Great minds think alike and all that @omarR-pepper ! Sorry, I should try reading more comments before posting :) But yes, it would be epic ! I also think beneficial for not just Toro Rosso but f1 in general. Imagine the interest that would inject into the final races. Also with the big changes next year the cars will be very different to drive so it’s not like extra time in this years Redbull is essential for Vettel.

@shena
Did photographers really say that? I thought the fog would add some mystique to the pictures :)

@toiago is it fog or SMOG

The reason for FP3 being shortened was fog, at least was what I read. Maybe they softened the real reason!

Nothing special, they just brought the time of the photo a bit forward.

Lately, vettel is doing the finger for a milisecond. I guess the booing had some PR effect, maybe not his decision, or it may be that yes, he noticed how that sign is considered offensive (why? I’ve always wondered) and is now showing a thumb (but in Nigeria he won’t get popular, as the thumb up is considered as offensive as the middle finger)

Who is the ferrari guy in the middle of the Toro Rosso picture?

Probably one of the engine mechanics.

His other shirt was in the wash.
Engine and tyre suppliers have a guy in each team who acts as a representative. You can see the Pirelli guy on the far right.
Why they put him in the centre of the picture and not with the Pirelli guy is a mystery, they obviously saw the problem, because they put him in the exact centre.

The Indians clearly love F1. There must be at least tens of people there.
