  1. I would like to thank Red Bull and the rest of the teams for the most boring season in F1 ever. Can we nog we re-fuelling back, extreme grippy tires and less ** like DRS and KERS? Thank you.

  2. It would have been great to see Vettel allow Webber to pass on the final lap to allow Mark a farewell win, especially after the ‘stolen’ win from Malaysia. An act like that would have gone some way to endearing Sebastian to a wider range of Formula 1 fans.

However, I completely understand that F1 is a dog-eat-dog environment and that being the ‘gritty’ driver Mark has always been in F1, he wouldn’t have been completely happy to have a win gifted to him when he knows was fairly beaten on track.

So hats off to Sebastian for another record breaking consecutive victory.

And congratulations to Mark for strong second place finish. Even though the drivers title ultimately eluded him in his career, Mark Webber played his role well in helping to secure 4 consecutive constructors titles for his team.

Bringing home solid points on his final race, as he always has done for RedBull Racing, was a fitting finish to his time in Formula 1.

It wouldn’t. That’s called match fixing. Just like Red Bull tried to fix the match in Malaysia. Thank goodness Vettel didn’t go along with something Webber wouldn’t have gone along with either.

      1. this isnt senna-berger thankyou very much

  3. Thanks everyone, Keith, moderators, and fellow F1Fanatic commenters for your efforts and your company over the past season.

As to the race result, it was not quite what I was hoping for. As a Hamilton fan, this has been slightly depressing race, in a depressing second half of the season (again) that had me wondering not for the first time whether I should just stop watching – putting my family through my television-watching demands only to feel depressed on Sunday evening.

Nevertheless, I am looking forward to winter testing and a new era of Formula 1 (let’s hope fuel saving won’t be too bad), and maybe a fight for the championship. To the v8 engines: The rest is silence.

    1. I second this! Thank you everyone for a really enjoyable community & Keith and the team for the fast, complete news.

As a Grosjean fan I also wasn’t thrilled with the race result! But it’s been a great second half of the season and I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings.
