for everyone who lives in the german area, the austrian television will show every f1 session live this weekend! they mentioned something about gp2 aswell, but i couldn’t find it in their tv programme earlier this week.

is it just me or does it seem the bbc have far less races,
sky ruined my love for f1,
and streaming swooped in and saved the day!

they have 9 this year i think, but the way they’ve chosen (if they have a choice) means there is only 1 live race per month on the beeb. it really diminishes my interest – even having it on ITV was better than this.
streaming is the way forward. tv is dead. if F1 were really progressive they would go to live streaming format – the websites would generate some income.

Anybody aware of any ways I can watch the race & quali live without Sky Sports F1?
I hear getting the video feed from somewhere and then overdub an english radio feed?
All suggestions appreciated. If not I’ll have to hit the bay

@frankjaeger If you live in Great Britain you can get a satellite and point it to astra 19.2 east to pick up german stations. Two show F1 – RTL and Sport 1. Then if you have a radio you can listen to 5 live commentary. I’ve been using this method since 2012 and it’s been brilliant. This way I can watch FP1, FP2, Quali & the race live – for every single race .

Cheers for the reply bud. Yeah I’ve heard of this method, unfortunately I don’t own a satellite so I’m gonna have to wait till it gets uploaded a couple of hours later. Appreciated
