The gooey bits shown on the sides of Lewis’s car might explain why Merc slowed his pit stop so the two extra guys could clean out the winglets on the front wing.
Is there a legal finish for the cars that might reduce the scraps of rubber from causing aero problems?

Guys does anyone know if the new Mercedes AMG GT will be the new safety car next year?

@tino852 – I doubt it, the AMG GT is not a replacement for the SLS AMG, which is still in production and remains Mercedes’ flagship super-GT, whereas the AMG GT is a smaller wheel-based rival for the 911 or the R8. It would be nice though; goooorgeous looking car…
