it’s only time for Lewis to seal his second championship title.

Rosberg could win the next two and we are back to square one.
Reliability now is the only joker that can shift the balance towards either driver.

Rosberg has crumbled… No way Lewis can miss this WDC. I hope I mean. Not his fan, but he has 9 victories, so I hope lady luck stays out of this championship definition.
Excuse me :D (@square-route)

Crumpled …… I won’t be too sure of that. Seriously, one DNF and thing will turn real quick …

@square route that’s why I said “I hope I mean”, because of course, one Lewis’ retirement can ditch all his recent efforts. That would hurt him even emotionally (I guess) because Rosberg is showing lately to be “average” but in a superb car that can put him on 2nd place no matter how many times he blocks his tyres.

Don’t think this championship is over. It is very much still in Nico’s grasp, who only needs to win the remaining three Grands Prix and even if he is followed home by Lewis each time, he’ll be champion. That said, Nico is not looking like he’s going to be able to beat Hamilton in race trim any time soon…

Nico hasn’t done a back-to-back this season. Lewis has won two quadruples and Daniel Ricciardo did a double either side of the winter break.

“Daniel Ricciardo did a double either side of the winter break.”
@kodongo So Daniel has won four times? I remember three only.

Double as in won two races in a row.

He means “Daniel did a double, either side of the winter break.” One win before, the other after.

And I should have said summer break.

A very feasible WDC scenario for Nico would be for him to finish only 2nd in the final races, with a DNF for Lewis in the Abu-double. Crazy.

Hulkenberg still in 8th, it’s going to be hard for him keep Massa behind.

i did some calculations, this is on the basis that it’s merc 1-2 to the end. HAM only needs to win one more race to be champion and it even doesn’t have to be in Abu Dhabi.

I think Ferrari need to start worrying about McLaren. They have been showing much better form recently.

Fernando has scored exactly 3 times Kimi’s championship points.

And that stat just about sums up Raikkonen’s performance this year. Absolutely terrible. I think he’s past it.
LexBlair (@lexblair)

Yet, he, for SOME reason, still has a seat at Ferrari for next year…. Ridiculous if you think about it. I’d say sack Kimi and go for a Vettel/Button combo next year.

You have to wonder how much performance was unlocked in these Lotuses of 2012 and 2013. Of course the main problem is that the Ferrari is just badly drivable for him, but this season cast some shadow on that.

Ros chucked it away lol. That is crucial as you would fancy Ham winnign 1 of these next 2 atleast. Then he just needs 2nd in Abu Dhabi.

Nico can stil win this, but he’s certainly not deserving.
