I’m curious, did Perez get a penalty for his move?

Yes, 7 place grid drop for Brazil.

The lack of sound is chilling. Someone sneezes and you can’t hear the cars…
F1 must be frightening, and we have lost this “mechanical thunder” feeling we had in the past.
I read (a few months ago) they could introduce 2 exhaust pipes (instead of 1) in the future, in order to have proper engine noise: any news about that ?

Its way more racing now, and thats is WAY more important than “noise” :)

@bebilou You’re right! I went to COTA last year and whenever a car went past you couldn’t hear the commentary at all but watching these videos that’s clearly not the case now.
Also last year I could hear the 22 cars revving at the start from the Maggots-Becketts section I was sitting on, but now it seems you have to be on the main straight to hear anything of the start.

You guy’s are right about that. I just love the new sound; I can actually hear what is being said, and the conversation between driver and pit crew. It makes for a lot more interesting race.
