What’s that bulge on McLaren’s nose in some pictures. At first I thought it was a water droplet on the camera, but now I see it’s visible on more photos. Anyone has any idea?
It was a camera used to look at the front wing to detect flex. McLaren have run this frequently in the past and Williams ran a version of it yesterday too
What’s with some of the teams – notably Ferrari and Sauber – leaving the carbon fibre bare at the rear of the engine cover? The liveries look unfinished.
I’m not a technical guy, but I believe that the green splatter at the stern of the Torro Rosso must be the guts of what the experts call a Gremlin. Hopefully this is a good sign.
Finally had some time to look closely at the pictures. Two things struck me, the front wings all, all look very similar and very precarious, meaning vulnerable to falling off / breaking with any impact… Also all of the cars have very similar side boards ( like a sail boat stabilizer) sticking out mid body, Lotus and Williams have used them to put the car numbers on them and this is a very good thing for much easier identification during a race. I hope the side numbers are used throughout the season. Thanks, Norris

It’s a bin bag they forgot to remove.

Some plastic bag got stuck there on one of their first runs.

Considering their drivers inexperience, they are expecting them to bin it any moment. Hence the bag.

The longer noses are really bugging me, it looks like they’ve been stretched out about 6 inches.
