it will be nice if the Ferrari test translates to better track results, just so I don’t have to see SV lip out and the chance of FA being lapped in a car he rejected would be special.
Haha. Even if the Ferrari is faster than McLaren this year, don’t worry, “Alonso always gets the absolute most out of his car” [end of semantically null and completely trite statement about 4 years of being outdriven, with excuses].
One thing I don’t understand is why McLaren still forces their drivers to have that white band in the top of their helmets where “Vodafone” used to be, it’s been 2 years already! Almost as annoying as Red Bulls’ intrusive logo.
Jenson’s had the white band as a feature of his helmet designs since before he entered F1. It was left without sponsor logos during his years at BAR/Honda/Brawn too, not just recently at McLaren.
I just wish he’d go back to the earlier design – his late-season 2008 and early-season 2010 helmets were especially good. These ones he wears now by Uffe Designs have none of the class or style of the earlier Bell helmets he wore.
The cars are looking good this year, even if lacking a few sponsors (McLaren, Sauber ahem). Jerez produces great pictures every year, especially with the lighting. They must get a great view from that UFO thingy overlooking the start/finish straight. What is that for, if anyone knows?

At least they’d paint “This could be you” to the empty space. :)

The Schuberth helmet somehow looks odd in the McLaren…Maybe it’s because I’m not used to seeing Schuberths in McLaren Formula 1 cars

With Kimi wearing Bell helmet and Vettel wearing Arai, I think Ferrari’s partnership with Schuberth has ended…
