  1. does the formula renault 3.5 only have one race at monaco?

    1. @rigi Yes, it’s their only single-header event of the year. After this they’re straight on to Spa for two races next weekend.

  3. I’ll be at home this weekend, so I’ll finally have a chance to see both qualifying and the race live, so I am disappointed to learn that BBC does not broadcast this one live. I thought they had a policy of always having Silverstone and Monaco live (true, previous Monaco races were not that thrilling).

So, it’s German RTL for me, backup by a Sky sports stream during the numerous, lengthy, and occasionally ill-timed commercial breaks.

    1. @adrianmorse BBC haven’t done Monaco live for a few years now. Their priorities are Britain, finale (Abu Dhabi in this case), and presumably Canada but I’m not overly sure about that last one.

  4. why do they have the formula e races at the same time as the gp2 race? i can’t watch both at the same time!

    1. @rigi Oh for goodness sake! This is the one time I actually wanted to watch GP2!

Is Merhi doing the Renault Formula 3.5 race?

    1. No, Alex Fontana is in his car.

  6. US TV times, all times eastern, note that the race is on NBC, not any of the cable channels.

Free Practice 1: NBC Sports Live Extra 4am ET 5/21
    Free Practice 2: NBCSN 8am ET 5/21
Free Practice 3: NBC Sports Live Extra 5am ET 5/23
    Qualifying: NBCSN 8am ET 5/23
Race: NBC 8am ET 5/24 (F1 Countdown on NBCSN from 7am ET)

The Monaco GP2 Race is being broadcast at 1:30 am Sunday morning on NBCSN.
The Indy 500 is on ABC at noon, preshow starting an hour beforehand.
The Nascar race is on Fox at 6.

  7. Mercedes had a right to protest the race, the VSC was displayed. The entire field believed it until the actual SC was deployed. I don’t know who is worst Formula 1 and Charlie or Mercedes Benz.
