Lewis Hamilton set the fastest lap of the race as he closed on Nico Rosberg during the closing stages of a thrilling Austrian Grand Prix.
Hamilton made an extra pit with 17 laps to go, putting on a fresh set of soft tyres in a bid to put pressure on his race-leading team mate. Rosberg responded but opted for the super-soft tyres, but towards the end of the stint he began to struggle for pace.
Tyres became a major talking point of the race when Sebastian Vettel suffered a blow-out on the pit straight, similar to his failure in last year’s Belgian Grand Prix.
As was the case in that race, there was no indication from Vettel’s lap times that he was in trouble with his tyres.

Same to me. Bit of shame for drivers because today they maybe had a last chance to break it. ( Have a proposed 2017 track extension project in my mind).

I just notice the red bull boys are almost the same in their round times. But Max is much more stable then Daniel. Max is almost a machine compared with Daniel.
