Drivers will be able to use the super-soft tyres at the Circuit of the Americas for the first time at this year’s United States Grand Prix.
The super-soft rubber, which has not been used before at the Texan track, will be mandatory for drivers to use in Q3. They will also have the choice of soft and medium compound tyres for the race, and must use at least one set of these two compounds.

A good way of making the races more interesting is to make all types of tires have the same color tag, making the teams and spectators to expect the unexpectable, the Red Bull Ring race is proof of that.
Of corse you would have to make the mandatory tire desapear…
