  1. As this is no doubt just a minor rehash of last year’s abomination, I wouldn’t have this even as a prize in a competition.

No doubt this comment will be gone shortly, but at least this was more engaging than the game.

Considering Codemasters are responsible for the utterly brilliant DiRT Rally, there’s just no excuse anymore! They can do it and F1 deserves better than this…

    1. “F1 deserves better than this” .. don’t you think that’s a bit premature to say about a game yet to be released? @psynrg

      1. No, because after 5 previous disappointments; well, you know how it goes: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me…”

    2. A recent youtuber Aarava I think whom visited Codemasters and played F1 2016, said that FOM, the teams and sponsors are a real problem with alot of ideas for the game.

      1. Of course they are, they’re a problem in every way that F1 is involved, Games, TV rights, Internet and Social Media integration. They are a bunch of fat cats who don’t care about actually progressing the sport and integrating with the best technologies around. All they do is add a few different camera angles. Off the top of my head they need to be looking in to the use of internet streaming services, VR headsets (imagine the camera angle just above the drivers head), Google Street View for tracks etc My god if they really invested in them you could have coverage of unprecedented levels

  2. Keith Collantine, will the predicted pole time count even if the driver setting it is grid penalised during the weekend?

  3. The game is becoming worse and worse. As long as they primary focus will be animation of pit mechanics, podium and gestures of the driver when getting hit the game wont be worth much. I dont care about the pit crew, i dont care for podium, i dont care for a commentator in the game. I simply dont care what colour of helmet i am going to have. all this things are for children. What i care about is realistic damage model, rain model, AI, physics and so on…i heard a rumour that sponsors dictate damage model in the game so the cars break apart only in parts where logos are almost non existant…
