  1. Nico Rosberg continues to impress me.

Even if he never wins the title, I hope he gets the credit he deserves for his achievements while at Mercedes.

    1. Spot on. And Ferrari will never stop to amaze me how they have no race tactics ever since Brawn and Tod. Again they give up track position especially on track like this hoping for some imaginative overtake. Are they so scared of Mercedes so they can’t defend 28 sec advantage on 15-16 laps to the end?

    2. It doesnt feel like he deserve it cause he was great but because of hamilton being absolute trash though.

      1. @f1fan-2000 Please elaborate on why you say Hamilton was ‘absolute trash’. Hamilton did his best, Rosberg was just better all weekend.

        1. he wont get it

    3. Nico’s now acting like a WDC.
Relaxed, cracking jokes, being aware he has to be likeable to have fans etc.
He’s already accepted Lewis is the reigning WC, the one to beat, the benchmark etc and his driving has improved as a result.

He’s learnt how to behave in and out of the car from Lewis and is making the most of it.

I think he’s a great driver but also a knob, not the kind of guy I’d want to spend time with.

He’s now doing all the right things to maximise his luck and talent.

I think he’ll be WDC this year.

  2. Quite an exciting race! If they had another lap this race could have been even better. Some standout performances from Rosberg, Ricciardo anf Alonso

    1. The Vettel’s performance is super-standout! Starting last, no positions gained at the start, a super-short SC period, right at the start of the race – so, nothing gained here either – I think it makes Vettel driver of the race.

      1. Vettel and Alonso showed their skills this race.

    2. Agreed – Buts lets please add Vettel to the list ! ;o)

    3. Completely: one more lap and Ricciardo would have taken it!

  3. GUT got 11th again. He must be feeling gutted.

    1. Gutie11eth

  4. Vettel from last to 5°!!! at Singapore!!! Astonishing!!! Only a great driver can do that!!!

    1. What about Alonso =, last to P7 in a McHonda in Spa, was that any good….

      1. both were good.

      2. ALO “overtook” 4 cars on track (not 100% overtaking manoeuvres, because it was mostly thanks to staying out of all that early-race carnage).
VET overtook at least 9 cars ON TRACK (100% overtaking manoeuvres).

ALO won 9 places because of other dirvers’ accidents/punctures.
VET won 3 places (GRO-DNS, the hulk’s crash, and Bottas’ puncture)

ALO won 4 places thanks to the SC.
        VET won 1 (BUT).

ALO lost 4 places on track.
        VET lost NONE.

ALO found himself on lap 7 at P4 mostly thanks to accidents and SC, only to drop to P7.
VET fought from the back of the grid from the beginning to the end.

All in all, I’d say VET won 9 REAL places, while ALO won NONE (4-4=0).
And last but no least, VET is just a man, not a demigod like ALO. So I think VET deserves more praise. :D

        1. But Vettel drives a Ferrari, the 3rd best car. Alonso drives a McLaren Honda… @oscar :p

          1. Vettel in Singapore, between the walls, with 3rd best car = 9
Alonso in Spa, with 6th best car = 0
So, I still think VET’s result is more praiseworthy.

  5. In the last years in Mercedes the battle for victories between Lewis and Nico is 28 to 21 and since Mexico 2015 is 11 to 6 in favour of Nico.

Maybe the Guy has a real shot to get the WDC this year.

    1. How are you getting these numbers?

      Lewis/Nico 2014 was 11/5
      Lewis/Nico 2015 was 10/6
      Lewis/Nico 2015 was 6/8 (so far)

So totals are 27/19 so far in Lewis’s Favour.

      1. 2013 2 Ros/ 1 Ham makes it 28/21.

      2. I’m including 2013 2 to 1 in favour of Nico …. they were both in mercedes that year.

  6. A litany of great drives and great driving, Max and Seb’s wheel to wheel stuff was mega. Rosberg’s best drive I think, outstanding. Also can Kevin get a contract extension, please? He’s driving an asthmatic, underdeveloped chassis and scores points again.

    1. Hahaha – great comments Jack about Kevin and Renault. Spot on ! ;o)

    2. replace Max with Kvyat.

      1. Exactly: Kvyat was exceptional.

      2. Lol! Whilst that would be hilarious, RB won’t do it.

  7. The shortest Singapore GP regarding winners overall time so far, but the 100% SC record remains.

  8. Interesting differences between all the teammates. After the top 6, teammates were separated by a lot of places
