It was a high-scoring round of the Predictions Championship for the second weekend running.

The post-race penalties for Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel were good news for 30 players. They all received perfect scores of 50 after correctly naming Lewis Hamilton as the pole sitter and the top five race finishers in the correct order.

Once the pole position time tie-breaker had been applied @Hamilton-Fan came out on top having got within a tenth of a second of predicting Hamilton’s time. @PaulK took the runner-up prize.

There are two chances left to win prizes in the remaining race weekends. The F1 Fanatic Predictions Championship is free to enter. You will need an F1 Fanatic account to place so sign up here if you haven’t got one.

  1. I must confess to being a little heartbroken. After years of playing, I finally aced the predictions competition: pole, the whole top 5, and a couple of hundredths off pole in case of a tie-breaker. I was in for a good shot at the prizes this time! That is until, hours after the race, my favorite driver was promoted to third. Oh well, better luck next time. Bwoah, it’s the same for everybody.

  2. I hear yeah. The on-track order would have made me perfect with my final entry. Verstappen’s penalty would have made me perfect had I kept my original entry. Only for Vettel to (thankfully) mess that up.
I feel I need to direct my frustration at someone, but nobody on this sight has warrants it. Does anyone have Max’s or Sebastian’s phone numbers?
