Mercedes headed both practice sessions at Silverstone but Ferrari ended the day just a few tenths of a second behind them.

And intriguingly it wasn’t home favourite Lewis Hamilton who put his car on top but last weekend’s winner Valtteri Bottas.

Could he become the first driver this year to win two consecutive races? Will Red Bull get in the fight for victory? It’s time to make your British Grand Prix predictions.
