  1. I don’t know what to make of that Euroformula Open championship. I remember expressing a similar sentiment las year, when the series was utterly dominated by Harrison Scott, a (back then) 21-year old whose career record up to that point was decent (with 11 wins from 106 starts in various single-seater series), but nothing like his domination that saw him take 12 wins (and a second place) from 14 starts, outscoring the runner-up in the championship 340:222 despite missing the final couple of races.
And now, history seems to repeat itself with Felipe Drugovich, who has scored 8 wins (and a second place) in 9 consecutive starts, and is outscoring his rivals by a similar margin. Drugovich is currently 18 years old, so not quite as “old” as Harrison, but not too young either for the category he’s racing in. His career record before this season was 20 wins from 88 starts, so somewhat more impressive than Harrison’s, but not spectacularly so.
I can’t quite put my finger on it. Is Euroformula Open so heterogeneous that the best drivers tend to become dominators there? Or could it be that it’s one of those single-make championships in which the right investments can make a car a bit ‘single-makier’?

    1. Technically formula three isn’t a single make “formula” but I don’t know about the euroformula specific rules

    2. It just had 13 cars in this race, I think it’s all due to the lack of real competition. Of course there’s a relevance in winning (it’s always better than losing), but being “easier” pretty much diminish the greatness of it. It looks like the last year’s Formula V8.

      1. I did a quick research about Drugovich, he had a good season in German Formula 4 (finished 3th only 10pts behind) and he also dominated in MRF Challenge as well. It would be interesting to see him in F2 or F3 next year.
