  1. To anyone who might bring it up: Yes, the clocks go back in Europe on race day, but so they do in the race-hosting country as well, which means that the time difference, therefore, remains the same throughout the race weekend, thus, no need to take this particular factor into account here.

    1. Mexico will change hours until November 4.

      1. Nevermind… I was looking at a different calendar…

MEXICO WILL CHANGE THE CLOKS ON OCTOBER 28

Poor Channel 4, they pushed the boat out on screen time last weekend banking on the WDC decider, now they won’t even get to show it live. Every news channel will have rinsed the story clean by the time they get around to their highlight show!

But on the counter argument maybe people will see the news story and want to see how it went down.

    1. @ftruth Although this doesn’t concern me at all since I don’t live in the UK, but sometimes, I’ve wondered why don’t they air all the NA-races live instead of some of the European and or Far-Eastern races. That’d be more logical, but again, not really a concern for me personally.

      1. They get to pick the races in turn with Sky, so it’s unlikely they’ll get the best picks, just half of them!

@john-h @jerejj I don’t think Sky has any input on what C4 gets as they have all the races anyway. More likely C4 do get to have their pick but have to take into account an even spread so F1 isn’t off the air for a say a month, even if it includes a historically dud race or two.

          1. Sky gets to pick their exclusives from whatever C4 didn’t pick yet. I believe C4 got the first three picks, then Sky gets three to make exclusive, then alternating picks.

  3. BBC Radio coverage: Sunday 18.30 Radio Five Live.
