    1. Now TV have also bought back their ‘season pass’.
9 months of Sky sports for £195.

That’s interesting at £10 per race.
Is that just Sky F1 or all Sky Sports?

I’m already a Sky customer (basic TV and broadband package), but I’ve subscribed to the F1 channel only for an additional £10 per month (2 year contract), but £120 for the year.

        1. That’s all of Sky sports, so it’s a pretty good deal.
Also includes the Indy season now, of course.

    2. Girlfriends first night away from the baby leaving me in charge and a 5.10am race start. Urghhhh!

      1. @1nkling
On the plus side, you’ll already be up at the right time! Hopefully the baby likes the sound of the vroom vrooms and you can nurture a new fan. Got to start em young and get em hooked!

        1. He does quite like the vroom vrooms. He usually wakes up around 6 do if the night goes well I’ll have to set my alarm early. If it doesn’t go well, who knows. She’s taking the boobs with her so all hell may break loose. :)

    3. Well I’ll be watching live at the track. Attend every year. Yes I’m a local and just a tram ride away from the track in fact I’ve walked around the track every year since 2010 to watch it’s construction progress.

    4. Does anyone know of a way to subscribe to the Sky coverage in the UK, but to be able to watch it on demand at your chosen time aside from having their full package and TV box? As far as I know Sky Go And Now TV don’t offer an on demand service – just live streaming :(

I would record the channel 4 hightlights from freeview, and watch that in your own time.

    5. I’ve got a work colleague who has Sky with the F1 channel and has kindly allocated me one of his SkyGo IDs. So I’ve got the app on my PS4. In April I’m away at a wedding but I’m taking my PS4 with me so I can plug it into the hotel TVand watch it!

it might be worthwhile asking work colleagues/friends to see if anyone has Sky but doesn’t use all of their Sky Go IDs.It’s amazing how many people either don’t use them, or just one 1 of them.

      1. Does the Sky Go ID let you watch the races on demand? If so, I’m going to be giving my sister-in-law a call…

    6. @Keith – not sure that affiliate link is working as week pas shows as £14.99 at checkout stage…

Yeah they have upped the price recently. Contemplating the £195 season payment now

      1. Yes if you’re a NowTv sports pass viewer DO NOT BUY a pass for the first race, buy an entertainment pass which is cheaper and gives you a month of access (first race to be shown on Sky One).

      2. Amazing…thanks for the Virgin tip. So glad I read this article. Was going to have to spend the day avoiding all sports updates until the afternoon.

    7. For F1 fans in New Zealand, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is Spark Sports won’t be ready for the Melbourne GP. The good news is TVNZ are going to be broadcasting it FREE TO AIR!!! Okay, I can only say I read it on the Stuff website, but usually they’re reliable.

      1. Okay, I was wrong. Here is a link to Spark Sports, and this looks like the real thing.
