RaceFans Predictions Championship

Lively races at Baku in 2018 and 2017 have given the race a reputation for unpredictability. Will this year’s race be another lively encounter?

The form book could be even harder to read this weekend as first practice was abandoned after George Russell hit a loose drain cover.

Can Ferrari stop Mercedes from scoring their fourth consecutive one-two finish? And what can Red Bull do with their upgraded Honda power units?

There are prizes to win every race weekend and at the end of the season for the top scorers. The RaceFans F1 Predictions Championship is free to enter. You will need an RaceFans account to place so sign up here if you haven’t got one.

Enter your predictions for each race using the form below, and scroll down for more information on the prizes and the rules.

It couldn’t have been closer between the top players in the last round of the predictions championship. Five drivers shared the highest score for the race – 48 out of a possible 50 points. What’s more, two of them were equally close to the pole position, each predicting a 1’31.700.

That meant we had to find another way of picking a winner. In this case, the first of the two players to enter their prediction was chosen as the winner, meaning @Deej92 scoops the prize and a copy of F1 2018.

Commiserations to @Mistrip, who came incredibly close to winning, as well as fellow top scorers @LuvinF1, @alexde and @Peartree.
