Antonio Felix da Costa took pole position for the Marrakech Eprix after rival Mitch Evans, who was quickest in group qualifying, failed to cross the start line before the chequered flag.
Techeetah driver Da Costa, who was fastest in first practice yesterday, was the only participant in the first qualifying group to make it through to the Super Pole shootout.Championship leader and Mexican EPrix winner Evans, who had topped second practice and looked set to be in strong contention, was behind Da Costa over the line during their group session and failed to cross the line before the chequered flag by just two-tenths of a second.
Santiago winner Maximilian Guenther will join Da Costa on the front row of the grid for today’s race.
Robin Frijns and Neel Jani had their qualifying times deleted following throttle mapping infringements.

I’m very envious of fE fans. They get live uninterrupted free to air coverage on the BBC.
Just like we F1 folk did so many years ago, before the money men moved in.
