Its very tight between RP, SF and Mclaren.

Racing point only to be DQed in the end, it all depends upon the hearing. at present the RP are qualifying well as their one lap qualifying pace is good when compared to the SF and Mclaren. Race pace are three are pretty similar. RP needs a upgrade to go close the Red bulls.

To be fair, Verstappen (and Hamilton) make almost everyone look bad. And Bottas is a steady and reliable contributor.

You think so? Put anyone else in Hams seat and I think Max would have a good chance of being P1 in the championship. Like to know who these great drivers are that would beat Max regularly in the second Merc.

Always going to happen when two cars always finishing 2nd and 3rd. Any mistakes are costly. Only way Bottas will pull a gap on Max is when he wins, and that is hard to do with Lewis in the other seat!

As far as the team is concerned, Bottas’ job is to beat Albon. He is doing that rather comfortably.

Don’t win anything for 2nd. As long as Bottas does enough to win the constructors championship, Mercedes will be fine.
