  1. Glad there’s a GP2 title battle to watch this weekend. Wonder if both races will be better than F1s effort

  2. FP3, QLF, and the race initially were set for 15:00-16:00, 18:00, and 18:10, but suddenly those changed to 14:00-15:00, 17:00, and 17:10, respectively, for some reason. Not that I’d complain as 17:00/17:10 was what I hoped for in the first place because of the sunset time of 16:45, the earliest of the year for Bahrain in general. For the sake of consistency, the Friday sessions should get brought forward by the same amount as well, though. This way, FP2, like QLF, would commence 16 minutes after the sunset time. Whenever the race and QLF of a given event start in the same hour, so should FP2. I don’t see a reason not to do this.

  3. BST ? So in fact QLF at 1 p.m. on Saturday and race at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday ?

      1. Sure ? Because it does say UK (BST) in the article.

        1. Race is 17:10 local time, so 14:10 GMT. I guess it’s a mistake in the article @reyfran

  4. OK: Thank you all for the information.

  5. 9pm for the race highlights on Channel4?! The Tuscan GP had the same start time but that was aired at 6:30pm.

Is it any wonder nobody I know cares about F1 anymore in the UK..

    1. 9pm means I stand a chance of watching the highlights “live” IYSWIM.

6.30 is bang in the middle of dinner & bedtime, so I have to wait until it becomes available on All4 some number of hours later.

  6. Wow the highlights are on late in the UK. Almost six hours after the race end! Didn’t expect that.
