Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris have brought special helmet designs for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc’s 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix helmet
Charles Leclerc has changed to a simple, locally-inspired design for the first race in Bahrain. He replaced the black and red panels of his regular 2020 helmet with a gold-on-black design, intended to reflect the Bahrain floodlights.
The pattern he used is inspired by Islamic design and resembles the ironwork on the doors of a mosque in Manama, Bahrain.
Lando Norris’s 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix helmet
Lando Norris took inspiration from his own project for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Having launched lifestyle, content and apparel brand Team Quadrant a few weeks previously, he designed a chrome-on-black helmet on a Twitch stream, in competition with the other Quadrant members.
Unsurprisingly, Norris ultimately opted for his own design over the alternative suggestion of a pattern of George Russell’s face.

I like the fact that Norris mixes up his designs a lot, but my goodness they are messy.
