Great effort from Russel. But WOW Charles Leclerc really got everything out of that Ferrari. Good job showing the pace when it was needed Bottas, doing a fine job of it.
Also very good job by Kvyat. At a track that really seemed to reward a driver nailing it. Will be interesting to see how the start goes. Will the p2 and p4 be as bad for the start as it was last weekend?

Leclerc and Verstappen are just streets ahead of Vettel and Albon. I’m not sure what Racing Point must be thinking, Vettel is past his prime now unfortunately. His experience really told at Turkey, but in terms of out and out pace in ‘normal’ conditions it’s just completely gone.

I agree, he may well thrive in a new environment but Perez is consistently on form and vettel hasn’t been since 2018.

You may be right but I think his ambition and drive has disappeared with Ferrari. Both have clearly fallen out. Think as a 4 x WDC ( no matter what you think of how he got those WDCs) he deserves another shot in a decent car. I’m no VETTEL fan but I think he will surprise a few people at RP/Aston Martin.

Seb is incredibly fast and incredibly good, but only under very specific conditions. He simply does not deal well with an underperforming car, nor does he handle certain types of pressure well. We’ve seen this throughout his career.
He can win another 4 WDCs no problem, IF he happens to be on the right car, with a happy team’s full support. Please, don’t take this as an attack against him. Hi is one of the best drivers on the filed, that’s without a doubt. It’s fair to recognize, however, that the conditions he needs to thrive are those and haven’t been met at Ferrari.

Happy for George and for Valterri. Missed opportunity for Verstappen I feel. Guess Valterri is not “mediocre” after all. Before the naysers talk about the gap to Russell- this such a short track- top 3 seperated by less than a tenth. Russell would have obviously seen where Bottas was faster throughout the telemetry- but Bottas had the advantage on Russell from Practice 3 and no doubt Russell is a fast learner.
