Hi @keithcollantine
It would be really helpful for fans outside USA and UK if you can also add a table with the times in UTC.
One less mathematical calculation :-)
Thanks.

@webtel I don’t see how having or not having UTC makes a difference.

@jerejj
It gets easier to calculate the times. Because local time is always UTC + or – something.

@webtel I don’t have difficulties calculating times without the UTC reference, but I understand your point.

F1 website gives session timings in local time as well as your regional time…could use that.

@asleepatthewheel
That’s exactly what I end up doing. But frankly speaking, I visit racefans for all news. So this is my site of choice for F1. So am only happier if I see times in UTC here.
The math is easy for me. But we don’t follow dst here. It’s just easier to look up on the web. Hoping racefans would help.

3 weeks is a pain between races, especially this early in the season
Jere (@jerejj)
13th April 2021, 8:24
@balue Well, this gap was a necessary evil caused by the race scheduled changes back in January, but a one-off thing, so survivable. I’m not counting out similar happening at the backend if Brazil and Mexico fall out.

I wonder what changed after last season’s event regarding the number of practice sessions. Local noise restrictions were ‘another’ reason for having a single session last time out. Either they’ve got dropped since, or something else.

Should be a good weekend. F1 and the return of Indy Car.
For once I’m glad there is no F2 / F3, as I’d like to also see the outside world at some point :)

Is it deliberate to leave out Channel 4’s free coverage times?
1930 & 1830, local time BTW

There are also less costly one hour summeries for Sky owners, Sky 1 about 5pm both days

@falken
I’m also a bit annoyed about this. Sky are the most expensive they have ever been this year so there will be more people than previously sticking to the free to air highlights. Channel 4 highlights were always listed in previous years. I remember this site as F1-Fanitic.co.uk implying it was a UK site. It goes as far as now showing the US times, but doesn’t show the free coverage times for the UK like it always used to.

No idea why C4 isn’t listed either, but then again I use Sky’s own TV Guide [web or EPG] and Radio Times for race weekend schedules

I agree @falken. I too am not sure why C4 in the U.K. is not included. I usually watch this as I won’t pay regular money to Sky just for the pleasure of seeing F1. I do watch live races sometimes.
I doubt it would be too taxing to do this as it was never a problem before.
