Amidst plenty of red flags, it’s been difficult for drivers to get a lap in during free practice. Lewis Hamilton was fastest in first practice but Max Verstappen has looked somewhat stronger in amongst the traffic of second practice.

Both Ferraris have been looking strong and until an extended red flag period this morning, Lando Norris was challenging for fastest in his McLaren. Issues with the power units in Vettel and Hamilton’s cars might bode badly for either of their chances, especially with very limited green flag running for Hamilton.

Predicting the order could be difficult given the disruption, so which team can set their laps at the right time will be key to picking who will triumph at Zandvoort.

Belgian Grand Prix winners

Based on the FIA’s classification of the bizarre, one-lap ‘race’ at Spa, eight players tied for a lowly top score of 11 last weekend.

Congratulations to @Valenzia, who produced the best pole position time out of those and therefore won the top prize – a copy of F1 2021. The runner-up prize – an F1 2021 calendar tea towel from BoxBoxBox – goes to @KeithEdin.

I’m predicting 4 Red flags. And at least half of the Mercs, Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren drivers being out by the races end.
