Mercedes ran away with first practice by nearly a second, with Ferrari looking comfortably top of the midfield. But second practice has shaken out with Sergio Perez looking strongest and McLaren putting themselves best of the rest, amidst the top two teams.

Max Verstappen was frustrated by traffic in the second practice session and others, including team mate Perez, got caught out by kerbs and bumps across both sessions. Very high track temperatures mean degradation will be a big factor, whoever masters managing the soft tyres will be in line for pole.

Turkish Grand Prix winners

@Hplk was the top-scorer for the Turkish Grand Prix round, correctly naming Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen as the top two, with Charles Leclerc in fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Their prize is a copy of F1 2021.

The pole position time tie-breaker had to be used to decide the recipient of the runner-up prize. A BoxBoxBox F1 2021 calendar tea towel set therefore goes to @Laross, who came closest to the winning time.

The overall championship lead changed hands at the last round, with @PsychoGTI edging ahead by a single point from @Xenomorph91.
