    I hope things gets interesting.

  2. I didn’t see Friday & Saturday session timing changes coming at all.
The timings were originally in line with this season’s general Europe local time majority pattern, i.e., 14:00-15:00 for FP1, 17:00-18:00 FP2, 13:00-14:00 FP3, & 16:00 QLF, so I wonder what happened at some point after the entire race calendar’s session timings’ simultaneous (provisional at least) release back in February.
To my knowledge, nothing special happens on the upcoming weekend like with Emilia-Romagna last season (royal wedding) that led to late timetable changes for practice & QLF day.
Another different thing is FP1-FP2 interval matches the previous standard of 2h30min rather than 2h like with other event FP1-2 gaps.
Once again, I’m annoyed those responsible for choosing race weekend session timings don’t give clarifications/reasonings for unexpected alterations from before that are unobvious.
Baku’s race start time change from last season (16:00 to 15:00) ultimately proved to be about LM24H, though.
