Hamilton messed up is first Q3 run, had to be causious on his second and only Q3 run, hence is time. It was make or break, and he managed 3rd im sure with something in reserve. Also he will have set up his car for the race and not just for qualifying.

Mercedes did a good job qualifying as high as they did. Same with Bottas. Ferrari is…disappointing to say the least. Will be nice if the final races are competitive. A glimpse in 2023 like Abu Dhabi 2020 was to the 2021 season.

Starting first is no advantage in Mexico. So both Mercs have excellent positions.

Great effort by Bottas. Some good points are on the line if things go straightfoward for him. Alfa seems to be the 4th fastest team again.
