Red Bull have unveiled the livery their RB19 will race in as they look to defend both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships in 2023.

With the RB19 chassis not being displayed to the world until pre-season testing later this month, Red Bull used the event to showcase new sponsors that will appear on their car, and confirm a future partnership with US motoring giant Ford.

The team head into the 2023 season as reigning double champions for the first time since 2014, with Max Verstappen looking to defend his title and secure his third successive world championship.

Honda’s logos will remain on Red Bull and sister team AlphaTauri’s cars for 2023, despite Honda’s exit from F1 at the end of 2021. Red Bull will again operate and maintain the Honda-designed power units under their Red Bull Power Trains badge.

Red Bull are coming back of their most successful year ever in F1, winning both titles while Max Verstappen delivered a record-breaking 15 race victories and team mate Sergio Perez contributed two more.

The team’s reserve driver will be Daniel Ricciardo, returning to Red Bull following his losing his drive with McLaren at the end of last year. He previously raced for Red Bull from 2014 to 2018, then spent two seasons apiece at Renault and McLaren before losing his place on the F1 grid and finding salvation with a new role at Red Bull.

  1. 45 Minutes and then…
Is there any difference to last years livery?

    1. I was hoping for a better designed number ‘1’. It is too thick.

    2. That was worth waiting for….

  2. I’m stunned……………

  3. This sucked.

  4. Looks like a Red Bull.

Which I guess is like calling out Mercedes for having a silver car or Ferrari for being red.

  5. Recently in the meeting with the marketing, sponsorship and branding teams.

Oh, I’ve got an idea guys

    CTRL-C

    CTRL-V

    Yeah.
    That’s perfect.
    How radical is that!

    1. The old guy in the room is still amazed and is trying to teach everyone the copy paste trick….but everyone already knows…

  6. I guess that after going over budget last year – they sacked the graphic designers to save money?

    1. Hahaha, good one

  7. Nothing different really.

  8. Red Herring Racing

    1. With formula 1 desperate to save money be financially sound and environmentally conscious what is the point in everyone heading from New York for 45mins of waffle and a present of a red bull livery that lets face it needs a really close look to tell the difference between this and last years car

  9. Did Racefans used last year’s images by mistake?

  10. Rokit as sponsor.

I mean, from a team such as Williams, I didn’t expect proper background checks on sponsors. But Red Bull? Have they learned NOTHING? Next they sign a deal with Rich Energy…..

    1. Different company called Rokt.

    2. Rokt, not Rokit.

  11. Hahaha, I expected nothing and still am underwhelmed with this nonsense.

IndyCar just delivered some super cool liveries all at once, I’ll better stay following that.

  12. Surprised they didn’t take the opportunity to introduce a surprise ‘Tropical Edition’ livery to push the new version of their heart-arrhythmia-in-later-life causing drink.

  13. Red bull really missed an opportunity to release their livery yesterday….. On Groundhog day! 🤣🤣

  14. i hope this was worth the wait for those who took their time to pay attention to this very important event.

  15. Red Bull cars and Red Bull sponsored cars always look similar to each other, that means: ugly. Usually special test liveries are better looking than the race ones.

  16. Probably spent too money on this bad production.

  17. At this point, is the Red Bull boring or iconic?

  18. That is rather underwhelming for a brand as RedBull. I mean, fair that other teams might chose to do an unveil this way, but this is a company that drops people with a balloon from space. Very ‘off brand’. This must be done much much better next time.
