Verstappen 151 points ahead of Perez with seven races to go still. If it weren’t for sprint races and FLAP points, he could wrap up the season in Japan, next race, with six races to spare.
Norris in 8th is closer to Perez in 2nd than Perez is to Verstappen in 1st.

So max seems to only have perez to worry about. Might as well be over. Good job Max and Red Bull..
Alonso really didnt do himself any favors this race. Feel sorry for Alonso.

Not possible. Even if Checo does not score a point and Max takes everything the difference will raise to 177 and 180 are needed. The earliest possibility is Qatar where he needs to have 172 points advantage after the sprint or 146 points after the race.

Thanks for doing the exact maths – like I said, if it weren’t for the extra points now, he could sew up the season in Japan. It will probably be Qatar. Leaving 5 dead rubber races.

Ferrari took a big chunk out of Mercedes’ 2nd place in the constructors.

At this rhytm Alonso is losing that 4th place to Sainz and Leclerc. Aston Martin is dead on the water.

Tsunoda 3 points
DeVries 0
Ricciardo 0
Lawson 2.
Not bad for a replacement driver.
