The full line-up of drivers for the 2024 F1 season has been confirmed. In a first for the world championship, every driver will begin the new season at the same team they ended the previous year with.Max Verstappen (Red Bull) enters the season as the reigning world champion. His rivals included fellow world championship Lewis Hamilton, who is starting his final season at Mercedes before joining Ferrari next year, and Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin.

Calendar
The full schedule for the 2024 F1 season has been confirmed. It features 24 grands prix, which is a new record for the most ever, and includes an extra six sprint races.
The season will begin and end with events in the Middle East. Most rounds will be held in Europe and the world championship will also visit North America, South America, Asia and Australasia: Two countries will hold more than one round: The USA (three) and Italy (two):

Rules
For the 11th year running, V6 hybrid turbo power units with 1.6-litre engines will be used by all teams in the 2024 F1 season. This is expected to be the penultimate year they appear before being replaced by a new power unit formula in 2026.
No major changes to F1’s chassis regulations have been announced for 2024. The sporting rules are also expected to remain largely unchanged.
