    Well that was certainly something.
Going to be fun in those team motorhomes tonight!

    1. :-) I’d bet the drive to survive crew are already rubbing their hands.

  2. Shambolic from McLaren.

    1. Have to agree 100%

  3. Did mclaren just humilliating the sport?

What is the point in watching a race if at the end the result is changed to suit the team. Is this sport? How many true fans will follow this debacle after today. I have followed F1 since it began, and though I am not naive enough to think that teams do plan which driver will win- but today was too much. I did not enjoy the ending and felt that I had wasted a couple of hours watching it.

      1. I am a “True Fan”, I understand that team orders are part of the sport, I will continue watching – but thanks for your concern.

    Best of the Rest Championship*:
    1) Haas 398 (HUL 239, MAG 159)
    2) RB 361 (TSU 208, RIC 153)
    3) Alpine 273 (OCO 138, GAS 135)
    4) Williams 196 (ALB 128, SAR 68)
    5) Sauber 182 (ZHO 101, BOT 81)

    * regular points structure for bottom 5 teams, incl. FLAP & Sprint points

  5. Does anybody know how the WDC would look like if Norris had won the races he had to win and got this under his pocket too?

  6. Wonderful.

  7. Consider if Verstappen had taken himself out with damage or a puncture in his rash move and Lando didn’t give up the spot. We would have a 59 point race now at half season. That looks a lot different than what we have now. I know it’s ifs and buts, but I think underlines that RBR can’t afford these gross errors anymore because McLaren and Norris are fully capable of winning this WDC going away right now. Right now I think they will win the WCC. RBR need to have a sit down with Verstappen and get that other car into a safe pair of hands.
