A somewhat straightforward race with occasional good battles.

Happy Norris won, but it wasn’t an especially inspiring race.

Like most Zandvoort races, not a great race just because of who did(n’t) won. Remains that passing is usually hard and most often with DRS and fresh tyres, and/or over backmarkers. But, a bit like in suzuka, it’s still nice to see the cars go round there.

I do feel we got a decent amount of good quality passes (and defenses) from many drivers today though with DRS being more of a support than the deciding factor in them.
It was a solid race, but it will probably be remembered more for the signal it sets about Red Bull not being the dominant car anymore (yes, it only confirmed what we saw for the last 4-6 races, but still) than for being a great race.

Zandvoort has produced more entertaining races than your average track. It’s an especially good track in the wet.

Not a fan of this track. We’ve got enough tracks like this where you can only overtake at the end of the straight, aided by drs. Borefest.

Very dominant win from McLaren, but yes, that was an undeniable snoozefest.

I’d say it was a dominant win from Lando Norris. Piastri was in the mix with the other top cars.

Was there even a yellow flag? 3/10 honestly.

A bit pity we seem to have swapped a very dominant Red Bull for a dominant McLaren. So no real fight for the win, but behind that a lot of tension and quite some nice overtakes. I like it drivers that have to work for an overtake here instead of just blazing past with drs.

Yes, this is something I always liked about tracks like this or hungary.

+ 1. Says everything I would have. I gave it a 7.

Happy that Max didn’t win but that doesn’t change the fact that it was terribly boring. 2/10.

3.5/10
We’ve seen far worse, but that’s not exactly a glowing endorsement.

Absolutely boring procession.
It’s races like this that make it hard to disagree with having to use all three compounds during the race.

Surprised by the number of comments actively stating that the race was not just boring, but ‘absolutely’, or ‘terribly’ so, in turn implying it would need to be a number of steps better just to be ‘okay’, let alone good?!?!?
Agreed, it was not the greatest race ever but, at least for myself, enough to keep me entertained (which was supported by the fact that by the 11pm start I was all but asleep from an exhausting weekend, yet once the race started I was very much engaged throughout the race).

I was the opposite – asleep before the first round of pitstops.

Not the most exciting, but we had a real change of lead (which was not a given), Ferrari making up places, Mercedes behaving bizarrely (what was Russel’s second stop for?) and a good battle for the last points places.
