  1. Quite a few tyre deg struggles as well as forcing off track.

  2. Another bottle job for Lando to add to his collection. And people seriously thought he had any shot of being a Champion?

I don’t think too many people thought, but a fair few definitely hoped!

    2. For sure he doesn’t deserve it for how he drove all the year

  3. Really difficult to know what to make of the mini-me race. Except that Verstappen maximizes his chances. Where are Red Bull and McLaren relative to each other? Ferrari look good. Sainz showing the kind of racing edge he could have done with showing earlier in his career, still, very enjoyable. Piastri’s divebombing a bit counterproductive this race. Russell chewing his way through his tyres again. Not sure if Lando really ‘bottled’ it as its now perfunctory to say or if he really just pushed as hard as he could against the Ferraris snarling behind him and finally lost the battle. 2 points lost only but not the right direction of travel and tomorrow doesn’t look promising. But this is a circuit that suits Verstappen. Norris really needs to mail pole later and hope Piastri does a lot better.

    1. Russell chewing his way through his tyres again.

Each race weekend, I run a little home sweepstake on how far Russell will slip in later stages due to ripping the life out of his tyres in the first few laps.
For 2025, I think Antonelli has one thing he can learn from Russell – how not to treat tyres.

  4. So, the sprint thing was not worth listing the results?
