Formula 1 has belatedly revealed why it cut the bonus point for fastest lap, and @PeteB hopes it could be the start of a trend:
Now we just need Toro Rosso to slow down and make sure to give Max a DRS boost every lap so that becomes controversial and we might finally start getting F1 back!

- Five years ago today Red Bull’s second Formula 1 team revealed its latest look following a change of name from Toro Rosso to AlphaTauri. It is now known as Racing Bulls.

That is the funniest COTD I have seen for a looong time. Bittersweet.
I thought something looked a little … off about that Mercedes pictured. It must have been packed off to Melbourne looking like that, never to be raced.

I expect that George is holding back. Could I be wrong?
I don’t think Piastri can win the world championship unless he’s in a team where he’s unquestioned number one and has a much better car than Lando, Max, Lewis, Leclerc, George, Alonso and possibly Sainz.

Goodness, those 2014 to 2021 cars were ugly I think. The 2020 Merc picture I am referring to. I think the cars were probably the most unattractive I have ever seen between around 2017 – 2021.
