Alpine has revealed its livery for the new Formula 1 season.
The team presented the livery for its A525 at the official pre-season launch event in London.The A525 will be the last Alpine to use a Renault power unit. The team announced last year it will not produce its own power unit for the new engine regulations which arrive next year and will switch to using Mercedes engines instead.
Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan will drive for Alpine this year.
Oliver Oakes, who became Alpine’s latest team principal in the middle of last year, said they aim to make a better start to their upcoming campaign than they did 12 months ago, when they struggled to escape Q1 in the opening events.
“It has been a huge effort at both our factories in Enstone and Viry-Chatillon to prepare for the year ahead,” he said. “We aim to start the year with strong foundations and it will certainly be another competitive season throughout the grid.
“It will be important to keep making forward strides and pushing development as far as we dare all the while keeping our attention close on the regulation changes for 2026 and developing that package.”

Technical director David Sanchez, who joined Alpine from McLaren during last season, said their new car “is a continued evolution of the A524 where we have refined some details and aimed to improve some weaknesses in order to find more performance.”
“We changed direction last year, which allowed us more scope to push the limit on development and we have been pleased with how this has progressed so far,” he added. “Now we aim to maximise this car’s evolution and progress the overall package in its current form as far as we can.”

Well, they painted it this time. But how long will that last? How long will any of it? It’s really nice, by the way, but will it resemble what we get in Australia. Will it be all pink, before reverting to all blue? Or have they arrived at a happy medium? Either way, this is one of the best ones so far this evening. And just like that, we are half-way.

Solid, but omg how gorgeous was the blue 2021 livery/car? Their black 2020 test car is one of my favorite ever liveries too.

At least we know they’re back on the weight limit, and don’t have to purposedly not paint half of their car to save weight, lol.
However, I like the combination of blue and pink – but it’s still not A523 livery.

Don’t like the paler pink, looks a bit like plastic pink toys. The 2021 was so much better than this one. The eni logo is cool and bring some 80 vibes. But the livery will probably look better on night races.

Not sure about this livery, I guess we’ll have to see it out on track. Good to see they don’t need to leave most of the car unpainted to save those few grams of weight, and the blue is nice although I agree with what some others wrote that the pink seems to be less vibrant than what they had before.

I actually liked the test livery with the pink BWT on the black better. Really popped…but this looks ok too.
