Aston Martin has shown off its colour scheme for the upcoming championship.
The 2025 season will be Aston Martin’s last as a Mercedes engine customer. It will join forces with Honda next year.Fernando Alonso, the most experienced Formula 1 driver of all time, will start his 22nd season. Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence Stroll, remains alongside him in one of only two unchanged driver line-ups in the field.
Aston Martin presented their livery on a show car. The team is due to present their 2025 racer, the AMR25, on Sunday. The team has made few changes to its livery from last year, though the outside edges of its sidepods are black instead of green.
New team principal Andy Cowell said revealing the colour scheme at the new F1 75 event “makes my first launch as CEO and team principal even more special.”
“Our 2025 livery looks great and continues to showcase the heritage of the team,” he said. “I’m looking forward to seeing our drivers take to the track in the AMR25 for the first time later this month.”

Meet the new Boss-sponsored car, same as the old Boss-sponsored car.

They’ve had a pretty car, but it looks like they’re trying to save weight and all the additional black makes the car look a lot less slick.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Pompous intro, awful singer, oh wait I’m judging the car. Yeah. It’s bland, sorry guys. Needed more hi-vis yellow I think. It’s just not inspiring at all.

Yup, high-vis yellow and that green go great together. They clearly don’t have any sense.

Maybe Newey will have some ideas about a colour scheme for 2026, too. Still looks nice. Is it just the same car, though?

Ahm, ok. Yeah, not really doing it for me. And is it me, or did they have to resort to large unpainted areas of the car to save weight?

White on top & black on the sides are the only noticeable differences from the last four seasons.
