Easy Gasly for me … I apologise for calling you “Ghastly” some years ago ;P

Yeah, I went with Pierre as well. Sure, Piastri did everything right, but really he had qualifying to master and then not mess up the race start and that was it, with Norris in the only car that might have challenged him down in 6th. I do think Russel would be a strong second (right ahead of Piastri) for me, qualifying this close to Piastri and holding his own in the race too.
And strong performance from Doohan as well. Norris was such a mess, but I guess if 3rd is the result of a messy race weekend, he can be incredibly happy with the result.

Yeah well … unfortunately, most people seem to think that the guy who won must be the driver of the weekend.
Nothing personal Bullfrog …. just how it seems to go ;)

Can only be Oscar – I didn’t see a single mistake all weekend.
Both Alpine drivers, both Haas drivers, Le Clerc and Russell deserve honorary mentions.

Piastri (Gasly second).

Though the driver who caught my attention this weekend was Russell. If Mercedes can keep close to McLaren and evolve to parity in terms of the car, it could be his championship. He looks a notch above both McLaren drivers.

Norris wasn’t the fakir McLaren needed in Sakhir.
Oscar for weekend Gasly for day.

Norris made quite a few mistakes, but I simply don’t get why he was not voted for by anyone until I gave him 1%, he was on the podium in 3rd, not Last, and no doubt just like in the last GP he’ll be marked down for his performance again.
There were two drivers in the last GP who were nowhere, yet scored higher points praises from Race Fans judges. I don’t remember Piastri being marked low last time out, yet he was behind Lando – Go figure.
